MS support groups
The MS Society works closely with several national support groups:
- Asian MS
- GLAMS (Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender affected by MS)
- Mutual Support (Armed Forces)
- Rishon MS Aid Support Group (Jewish persons with MS)
See the Near me page for other support groups around the UK.
Asian MS is a national support group for Asian people with MS, their carers, friends and family. They exist to raise awareness and dispel ignorance of MS in the Asian community, and put fun and dignity back into the lives of Asians affected by MS.

They provide a telephone support service for Asians affected by MS, information in different languages and run the 'Asian MS' online forum.

Mutual Support exists for serving and ex-serving members of the Armed Forces and Reserves, their dependants and carers affected by MS.
It is run by volunteers with direct experience of MS and the Armed Forces and provides confidential support, information and advice.

GLAMS is a national self-help support group for lesbians, gay men, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people affected by MS.

GLAMS offers support and can help you meet other gay people in the same situation, providing an opportunity to share experiences and tackle any feelings of isolation.
