Marathon for charity

The ultimate challenge.

Marathons aren't for the faint-hearted, but the day you run 26 miles might just be the best day of your life.

To all of the kind hearted, loud voiced, amazingly supportive staff and volunteers… a huge thank you from me and my family. I was fed, massaged, interviewed and photographed, which was just fabulous and exactly what I needed… It was a pleasure to run for such a brilliant charity and I’ve not finished fundraising yet!

Why run a marathon for charity?

Running a marathon is a huge achievement in itself. At 26 miles long, it takes fitness, stamina and lots of training.

Many people also use a marathon as a chance to raise money for charity. You get the joy of helping out a good cause alongside the satisfaction of finishing the race.

One of the most popular marathons is the London Marathon. It takes you round the capital’s famous landmarks, crossing from Greenwich to Buckingham Palace.

There are also annual marathons in Edinburgh, Brighton and Belfast. And if you’re after a flatter course and a different culture, why not try out the Berlin Marathon?

Marathon charity places

We have guaranteed places in some of the best UK and international marathons. You can register for one of our charity places – you just need to pledge to raise the minimum fundraising target towards our work. Come and be part of our MS Superstars team!

If you already have your own place in a marathon and want to fundraise for us, that’s great too! You can still join our team with your own place.
